The Diploma Awarding Ceremony for the graduates of the Faculty of Law from the 2023-2024 academic year was held in the YSU Paleans Hall, celebrating the achievements of the newly established lawyers.
Dean of the Law Faculty Harutyun Khachikyan extended his best wishes to the graduates for their professional journey. He stated: "Dear graduates, today you have graduated from the leading and most prestigious university in Armenia and the region, recognized internationally. I am confident that you will uphold the University, the Faculty of Law, and the esteemed title of lawyer in all your professional endeavors. You have completed a significant and memorable phase of your lives. Congratulations on earning the distinguished title of lawyer. The education you have received is designed to meet contemporary challenges, and we trust you will apply it effectively in your careers. You represent a generation that drives development, fosters change, and overcomes difficulties. I wish you a successful professional path and look forward to your continued connection with the university and the faculty."
Graduates Mane Khachatryan, Maya Nadoyan, Aida Hovhannisyan, and Ara Sargsyan from Artsakh delivered a thank-you speech. They expressed gratitude to the faculty members, including Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Professor Harutyun Khachikyan and Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Professor Gagik Ghazinyan, as well as the dean's office staff and all those who supported them. They acknowledged that with the university's and faculty’s support, they were able to navigate the challenges of their education, personal development, and various other issues. They vowed to honor the title of lawyer by contributing to the prosperity of the Republic of Armenia.
Ara Sargsyan specifically thanked the university and faculty for their swift integration and educational support.
A total of 188 graduates, armed with professional knowledge, bid farewell to the Faculty of Law, with 37 of them earning diplomas of excellence.
