On September 23, 2024, a conference-seminar titled "RA Investigative Committee: 10-Year Realities and Development Prospects" was held, featuring participation from nine leading scientific and educational institutions providing legal education in Armenia. In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the RA Investigative Committee launched a new initiative aimed at fostering cooperation with scientific and research centers across Armenia.
During the event, the RA Investigative Committee signed memorandums of bilateral cooperation with the following nine institutions operating in the Republic of Armenia, that are involved in the training and development of legal professionals: National Academy of Sciences, Yerevan State University, Academy of Justice, Public Administration Academy, Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Khachatur Abovyan, Russo-Armenian (Slavonic) University, French University, European University, and the Educational Complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Anahit Babakhanyan, a first-year master's student at the YSU Faculty of Law, also participated in the seminar, presenting a scientific report on the challenges related to the procedural independence of investigators and highlighting gaps and shortcomings in the current legislative regulation.
