On September 26 and 27, a training course-workshop on modern methods of teaching human rights was held for the teaching staff of the YSU Faculty of Law. This event was part of the cooperation between the YSU Faculty of Law and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.
The workshop was led by Dr. Alejandro Fuentes, working at Raoul Wallenberg Institute for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law and Lund University.
Over the two days, participants created a unique communication platform that united both young and experienced lecturers from the faculty. This allowed them to share their approaches to teaching human rights at YSU and various European universities, discussing both the advantages and challenges of their methods.
Teresa Cappiali and Arman Gasparyan, representatives from the Raoul Wallenberg Institute, addressed current challenges in teaching human rights and suggested directions for enhancing the educational process.
At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed a strong interest in exploring future cooperation opportunities.
