On January 31, YSU Faculty of Law hosted 8th-grade students from the John Kirakosyan School as part of the university-school collaboration program titled "Students in a University Environment".
During the visit, the students learned about the Faculty of Law, the admission process, as well as the legal consulting services offered by the Law Clinic.
In the faculty’s courtroom, Gevorg Barseghyan from the Chair of Criminal Law delivered a lecture on the topic "Punishment and Justice". The students learned about the legal practices of the Republic of Armenia and foreign countries and received answers to their questions of interest.
Such visits contribute to students' professional orientation, the enhancement of legal awareness, and the development of their educational interests.
