
From April 2 to 4 of this year, an international scientific conference titled "The Judicial Guarantees of Personal Rights and Legal Interests" was held at the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Professor Eleonora Fyodorovna Kutsova, a distinguished criminal procedure scholar, Doctor of Law, and Professor at the Chair of Criminal Procedure, Justice, and Prosecutorial Oversight at Moscow State University.
As part of the cooperation between Yerevan State University and Moscow State University, Professor Samvel Dilbandyan, Head of the Chair of Criminal Procedure and Criminology at YSU, and Doctor of Law, participated in the international conference. During the event, he delivered a report on "Issues of Protecting the Rights and Legal Interests of Victims in Criminal Procedure."
The conference also featured legal scholars from universities in several countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.
The conference focused on the guarantees of personal rights protection, a topic of great relevance to the development of criminal procedural legislation across the globe. Discussions addressed issues related to the rights and international legal protection of detained individuals, defendants, victims, and witnesses.
Active discussions were held among participants, leading to agreements on organizing joint conferences and exchanges in educational programs and lecturers.
