Forbidden literature: Books and lessons of history YSU History Museum hosted a discourse on forbidden literature with the aim of studying the historical and contemporary manifestations of literary censorship, understanding its impact on society, and evaluating the role of forbidden literature in shaping the literary and intellectual environment.

The study of such risks is the focus of Nonna Khachatryan, Associate Professor in the Chair of Management and Business at YSU Faculty of Economics and Management.
Discussion on ensuring effective management and international standards compliance of higher education in Armenia held at YSU As part of KPI4HE project, a workshop was held at YSU Academic Council Session Hall, during which the draft concept of the national framework for key performance indicators (KPIs) of Armenia's higher education system was discussed. Additionally, the methodology and structure for the development of the NF-KPI framework were addressed.
"During Soviet times, nearly all emigrants were repatriates": YSU researcher studies the choices of staying, emigration, and repatriation The study of issues concerning the Armenian diaspora, such as staying, emigration, and repatriation, has a broad scope; however, there are still unanswered questions. For instance, while the mass repatriation of 1946-1949 has been extensively researched, the question of why Armenians from Latin America were unable to repatriate during this period—despite many eventually doing so later—has not received sufficient attention. Tigran Ghanalanyan, Associate Professor at YSU Faculty of History, and his research team are currently researching this topic.
Armenia has preconditions to continue its bridging policy with the West and Russia - researcher at YSU Institute of Armenian Studies The primary threats to regional security stem from the power imbalance between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the fact that the security complex of the South Caucasus has yet to be fully formed. This concerns not only military balance but also external political and allied relations. This conclusion was reached by Rafik Avetisyan, PhD in Politics, Associate Professor, a researcher in the Strategic Games, Scenario Analyses, and Modeling Group at YSU Institute of Armenian Studies (IAS). In 2024, together with Edgar Avetisyan, PhD in Law, he carried out a research project at the IAS on issues related to Armenia's military security, funded by the "Support Program for Young Scientists" under the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
