STUDENT OF YSU FACULTY OF ORIENTAL STUDIES WON 2ND PLACE IN 3RD ALL-RUSSIAN INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIAD IN ARABIC
From October 31 to November 1, Kazan Federal University organized the 3rd All-Russian International Olympiad in Arabic with more than 120 students from different cities of Russia participating.

The Olympiad included 7 categories: oral speech, written work, listening, simultaneous translation from Arabic into Russian, written translation, poetry, and painting competitions in Arab countries.
Ovsanna Vardanyan, a 4th year student of the Department of Arabic Studies at YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies from Armenia, participated in the Olympiad.
Ovsanna Vardanyan has been nominated for a writing position.
In this nomination YSU student took the 2nd place, receiving a silver medal and a letter of appreciation.
