It should be reminded that in 1999 UNESCO declared February 21 as Mother Language Day.
It has been officially celebrated in Armenia for the past 15 years.
Every year it is celebrated in secondary schools, universities, and educational institutions.
The event started with the anthems of YSU and Seminary, after which the students and students of the Seminary performed Armenian songs, poems and theatrical performances.
At the end of the event, composer, poet Sasun Paskevichyan also expressed his gratitude. “The songs played here, especially Our Language written by Hamo Sahyan, should become the anthem of our students. Believe me, the best language in the world is Armenian. "
