HENRIK EDOYAN IS 80 YEARS OLD

Henrik Edoyan was born in 1940 in Yerevan, served in the army, received his higher education at the Faculty of Philology of Yerevan State University. This year marks the 50th anniversary of his scientific, teaching and pedagogical activity at YSU.

In 1986-2008 he headed the Department of Foreign Literature and Literary Theory at Yerevan State University.

Henrik Edoyan, a lecturer in foreign literature, has attracted the attention of the student audience from generation to generation with his general and special courses with the richness and depth of knowledge.

The poet Edoyan is the author of many collections, his works have been translated into many languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish.

He turns 80 on August 31.
