ARMENIAN-RUSSIAN FRIENDLY RELATIONS ARE PROSPECTIVE AND MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL
On the initiative of the Department of International Cooperation, a round table discussion with the representatives of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Armenia was organized today in the hall of YSU Academic Council.
Alexander Margarov, Head of YSU Department of International Cooperation, YSU Faculty of International Relations faculty and students, Representative of the Russian Embassy in Armenia, Second Secretary Igor Ratushnyak were present at the discussion on "Armenian-Russian Relations 1991-2021".
On behalf of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Sergey Kopirkin, Igor Ratushnyak first thanked the YSU leadership for the invitation to participate in the discussion, then presented a brief historical overview of the Armenian-Russian relations.
Alexander Margarov, Head of the YSU Department of International Cooperation, emphasized that the Armenian-Russian relations are long-term, mutually beneficial and perspective.
The Head of the Department of International Cooperation presented details on YSU scientific policy and international cooperation, in particular, partnership relations with Russian universities and scientific centers.
