THE IMPACT OF THE EASTERN PARTNERSHIP IN THE COUNTRIES OF THE SOUTH CAUCASUS. SEMINAR-DISCUSSION AT YSU
A seminar-discussion on "The Role and Significance of the Eastern Partnership and Armenia's Experience in the Transformation Process of Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus" took place within the framework of the "Public Diplomacy 2021" grant program.
The Public Diplomacy 2021 Grant Program is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
Universities from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine are participating in the project, being part of an international partnership for the implementation of this project.
It is coordinated by the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
In a conversation with us Peter Bayor, Deputy Director for General and International Cooperation at the Institute of Political Science and International Relations at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, said that the project aims to study the results of the Eastern Partnership processes and their impact on socio-political transformation.
Alexander Margarov, Head of the YSU Department of International Cooperation, stated at the beginning of the seminar-discussion that the Jagiellonian University in Krakow is a partner of YSU, with which a number of programs are being implemented.
He expressed hope that student exchange programs will continue to be implemented between the two partner universities.
According to the project coordinator, today the seminar was organized to discuss the reports of Armenian researchers, Narek Galstyan, Associate Professor of YSU Chair of Political Institutes and Processes, and Samvel Hovhannisyan, Associate Professor of the American Research Center.
