NEW OPPORTUNITIES IN THE FIELD OF CHEMISTRY - COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN YSU AND HOUSEHOLD CHEMICAL PLANT
A cooperation agreement was signed today between YSU and the Household Chemical Plant to implement joint educational and research programs and projects, as well as to promote the development of education and science.
YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry Tariel Ghochikyan, Deputy Dean Armen Galstyan, Deputy Director of the plant Karen Khachatryan and Head of the Scientific Department Babken Bayatsyan took part in today's meeting.
Hovhannisyan noted that this cooperation, among many opportunities, will contribute to the improvement of students' professional skills.
The YSU Rector emphasized that the new cooperation is a vivid manifestation of the strengthening of the university-labor market connection, which will make the development of students' ability to be competitive in the labor market more effective, as well as stimulate the establishment of regular professional contacts and dialogue between students and professionals.
By the way, according to the agreement signed today, "Housechemist" will provide nominal scholarships to 2-3 high-achieving second- and third-year students of YSU Faculty of Chemistry at its own expense, as well as allow them to work one day a week in the factory's scientific laboratory.
