"BRAINSPOTTING". YSU SPECIALISTS MASTER THE MODERN DIRECTION OF PSYCHOTHERAPY
On the initiative of YSU Center for Applied Psychology, Chair of Personality Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, an international BrainSpotting course is being held in Armenia for the first time.
Brainspotting is an effective, focused treatment that identifies, develops, and unloads the underlying neurophysiological sources of emotional and physical pain, trauma, and a number of other complex symptoms.
"This methodology is quite interesting because it is at the crossroads of psychology and neurology. The BrainSpotting method is developing quite fast all over the world. "Although BrainSpotting is a new approach for us, I am sure that our specialists will be able to master it and combine it with other methods already adopted," says David Gorgyan, Director of YSU Center for Applied Psychology.
The courses are conducted by Marine Jose Boone, BrainSpoting Specialist and Therapist, Andreas Herold, Psychologist, Zurich Vocational Training and Rehabilitation Training Center, and Mariam Vanunts, Practitional Therapist.
