YSU CENTER FOR PEDAGOGY AND EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT SUMMARIZES THE RESULTS OF ONLINE LEARNING
YSU Center for Pedagogy and Education Development, according to the emergency situation in the country, continues to provide distance learning.
Nazik Harutyunyan, Director of YSU Center for Pedagogy and Education Development, and Anna Aleksanyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of Pedagogy, spoke about the results of one-month distance learning, efficiency and student involvement.
Summing up the results of the one-month distance learning in the state of emergency, the director of the center informed that the average participation of students during the whole month was 86-95%.
"Students had various technical problems at the beginning of the first week: problems of internet, technical problems, and being unfamiliar with online learning systems": she said.
The director of the center also said that the lecturers of the center chose "Skype", "Zoom.us", "MeetGoogle", "GoogleClassroom", "e-learning.ysu.am" systems for effective distance learning.
Anna Aleksanyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of Pedagogy, has a successful experience in such teaching. She said, that the e-learning.ysu.am system provides opportunities for a variety of tasks.
She also said that before the declaration of the state of emergency, 96 students of the Pedagogical and Educational Development Center were active users of the "e-learning.ysu.am" system and continue to use all the opportunities of that system.
