NEW OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPLEMENT INNOVATIVE IDEAS AND PROJECTS: US OFFICE OF NAVAL RESEARCH GLOBAL DELEGATION VISITED YSU

They met with the YSU Acting Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, then got acquainted with the opportunities and capabilities of implementing scientific and technological projects at the university, as well as presented the ways of financing, which can be used by the university staff.

Hovhannes Hovhannisyan presented to the guests the educational and research directions of YSU.

The  Acting Rector stated that one of the strategic development programs of YSU is internationalization and increase of international research activities, in the direction of which real steps are being taken.

Project Manager for the US Global Naval Research  Patrick Rose also introduced the funding opportunities for the blue sky ideas, disruptive to conventional science and technology thinking.

The delegation also included Professor Karapet Andranikyan, Chairman of the FAST Advisory Board, President of the Hamburg University of Technology.

He told us that it is expected to create platforms that will unite specialists from different disciplines to implement their innovative ideas and projects.
