"Learn & Work: YSU EXPO-2024" – part 2 Within the framework of "Learn & Work: YSU EXPO-2024", interrelated education and career fairs, conferences, interactive competitions, exhibitions and quizzes were organized.
Learn & Work: YSU EXPO-2024 dedicated to YSU’s 105th anniversary held at YSU The expo gathered applicants, students, graduates, university divisions, and employers under one roof. Within the Expo’s framework, applicants got acquainted with competitive educational programs, while students met their future employers, and employers presented their activities and career opportunities.
YSU, AMAA signed agreement to support students forcibly displaced from Artsakh Today, YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan and AMMA (Armenian Missionary Association of America) Armenian Branch Director Aren Deyirmenjian signed a donation agreement, according to which the association allocates 21.281.900 AMD to compensate part of the tuition fees of 100 students forcibly displaced from Artsakh.

Associate Professor from YSU studied early medieval sculptures and proposed new scientific perspective Zaruhi Hakobyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of History and Theory of Armenian Art, YSU Faculty of History, delves into medieval sculpture and monumental painting, in particular, the monuments of the early and high middle ages. Her researches are on both iconography and artistic style.
Melinee Manouchian’s Life and Activity: discourse at YSU In the YSU History Museum, a meeting conversation was held dedicated to the French-Armenian figure Melinee Manouchian’s life and activity aimed to reevaluate her personality and her biographical episodes connected to YSU. The discourse was presented by journalist and researcher Arpine Haroyan.
Meeting with YSU students awarded Kenn Kakosian Family Scholarship The meeting with YSU students awarded the Kenn Kakosian Family Scholarship was held in the lobby of the YSU Academic Council Session Hall. At the meeting, the students presented the ideas and projects they implemented within the framework of the scholarship aimed at the advancement of provinces and communities.
YSU participated in final stage of ICPC International Programming Contest and hit the record high The YSU team, participated in the final stage of the 46th International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) held in Luxor, Egypt, successfully solved 7 out of the 11 problems and achieved an exceptional result, ranking 21st among 124 participating teams. This is the best result ever recorded by YSU teams in the ICPC.
