YSU scientist as co-editor of the book published by Elsevier Publishing Company Hovik Panosyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Biotechnology of the YSU Biology Faculty, in cooperation with foreign colleagues, published the book "MICROBIAL ESSENTIALISM: An Industrial Prospective" in the esteemed Elsevier Publishing Company. We talked with him about the recently published book, science and future plans.
Professor Ara Sanjyan from University of Michigan-Dearborn visits YSU Ara Sanjyan, Associate Professor of Historical Sciences, Director of the Armenian Research Center at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, delivered a lecture series at the YSU Faculty of History. International conference dedicated to World Refugee Day An international conference dedicated to World Refugee Day was held in YSU Paleans Hall under the title "Problems of Refugees from Azerbaijan SSR and Nagorno Karabakh in the Context of International Law". The conference delved into the issues of temporary protection of refugees in the context of international law. Additionally, as well as the economic losses of Armenians forcibly displaced from Azerbaijan, their social integration problems and the factor of ethnic hatred in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Science is Fun! See! Touch! Try! Annual natural science workshop held at YSU Organized by the initiative of the YSU Continuing Education Center, the "Science is Fun! See! Touch! Try!" natural science workshop brought together students in grades 8-12 under one roof, giving them the opportunity to engage in hands-on practical work and scientific experiments. This experience provided them with a deeper understanding of natural sciences.

Coffee, the most sought-after beverage, at the core of new study The YSU History Museum named after Professor Ludwig Gharibjanyan recently hosted a discourse titled "Coffee in Armenian Urban Routine during the Late 19th and Early 20th Centuries" filled with captivating stories and information. At the discourse, Tatevik Saroyan, Director of the YSU History Museum, shared insights from her research on the topic, talking about the hustle and bustle of cafes and coffee-drinking traditions in the central cities of Eastern Armenia - Alexandropol and Yerevan.
